Cuticle Remover

Manierismo is a term derived from the Italian word maniera, meaning "method or style," and refers to the dominant style in European art in the 16th century.

Since the 14th century, the term "maniera" has been used in Italian art theory books (Cennini, Ghiberti) without any value as a term to indicate an artist's individual style or a style specific to a nation or culture. It was G. Vasari (Lives of the Artists, 1550) who gave maniera its own value.
