Key puncher - Key puncher (English spelling)

A person who punches data into punched cards, or the occupation of that person. As the medium for inputting information into computers has changed from punched cards to magnetic tape and floppy disks, and data is now entered directly from online terminals, and character readers are often used to enter large amounts of data, the number of keypunchers has dropped dramatically.
