Born in the first year of Tensho. Second son of Kinoshita Iesada. Served Toyotomi Hideyoshi and became the lord of Takahama Castle in Wakasa (Fukui Prefecture). He sided with the Western Army in the Battle of Sekigahara and had his land confiscated. He followed Tokugawa Ieyasu in the Siege of Osaka and was given his father's inherited land in Bitchu (Okayama Prefecture) in the first year of Genna, becoming the first lord of the second Kinoshita clan of Ashimori Domain. 25,000 koku.
