Takeji Kinoshita

A practitioner of new education in the Taisho period. Graduated from Tokyo Higher Normal School. In 1919, he became head teacher of the elementary school attached to Nara Women's Higher Normal School. He advocated and put into practice "interdisciplinary learning," the fruit of many years of research into teaching methods. He founded the magazine Gakushu Kenkyu (Learning Research), launched a nationwide interdisciplinary learning movement, and had an impact on elementary school education. His books include Gakushu Genron (Theory of Learning) (1923) and Gakushu Kakron (Specifics of Learning) (3 volumes, 31).

大正期の新教育の実践家。東京高等師範学校卒業。 1919年奈良女子高等師範学校付属小学校主事に就任。教授法についての長年の考究の成果である「合科学習」を主唱，実践した。雑誌『学習研究』を創刊して全国的な合科学習運動を展開し，小学校教育に影響を与えた。著書に『学習原論』 (1923) ，『学習各論』 (3巻，31) などがある。
