...In the Edo period, the Kanshuji family was also known as the Kanshuji family, and the 13 families, including the Kanroji, Hamuro, Madarikoji, Seikanji, Nakamikado, Bojo, Shibayama, Ikejiri, Umekoji, Okazaki, Honami, and Tsutsumi families, accounted for more than half of the famous families of the time. In addition, the courtiers of the Kanshuji family left behind many important diaries, such as Tamefusa's "Daiki", Tsunefusa's "Kichiki", Tsunetoshi's "Kichiki", and Tsunecho's "Kichitsuki", and the descriptions in these diaries reflect the family's character as practical bureaucrats. The "Kanshuji Family Documents" currently held by the Faculty of Letters at Kyoto University contain valuable documents and records dating back to the early modern period, including Tamefusa's handwritten diary, and the dispositions of the estates of Tsunefusa, Suketsune, Tsunetoshi, Sadasuke, and Tsuneaki list a total of about 20 estates. ...

...The diary of Chunagon Fujiwara no Tsunetoshi (1214-76), who was a Junior Second Rank Middle Counselor. It is also known by the names Kikkouki and Kikreiki. It is the diary of an aristocrat from the mid-Kamakura period, from 1237 (Kasei 3) to 1276 (Kenji 2).
