Tsutomu Kitamura

...After losing his wife, poor tenant farmer Kanjiro and his daughter Otsugi work hard all day, but the story depicts their struggle to make ends meet, amidst the discord between him and his grandfather Uhei, and his relationship with the landlord. The screenplay was written by Yagi Ryuichiro and Kitamura Tsutomu. Kanjiro was played by Kosugi Isamu, who was a regular in Uchida Tomu's films at the time, Otsugi by newcomer Kazami Akiko, and Uhei by the renowned Nikkatsu actor Yamamoto Yoshikazu.
