This became Asuka Kiyomihara Palace, and in February of the following year, he established a platform and ascended to the throne. Meanwhile, the Nihon Shoki, in the entry for July Bogo in the 1st year of Shucho (686), indicates that the era name was changed to Shucho on this day, and that the palace was named Asuka Kiyomihara Palace. …
