Technological process

In a broad sense, production can refer to self-sufficient productive activities carried out in isolation, or the housework of a housewife or the creative activities of an artist, but in the narrow sense, production refers to any activity that produces goods or services that can be exchanged or traded, and it is this sense of production that economics usually deals with.

In order to maintain and reproduce life, and to live in society, humans must engage in productive activities, but of course this production has an aspect of technological process, in which resources are extracted from nature and transformed. The development of productive forces is largely due to improvements in technological processes, and in particular the application of science and technology to production and the development of so-called roundabout production have dramatically increased material productivity.
