…At the same time, together with Kosaku Yamada and Shinpei Nakayama, he was deeply involved in the children's song movement from the Taisho to Showa eras, publishing many works in magazines such as Kin no Fune and Dowa. His major works include the fairy tale opera Tsuki no Kuni (Land of the Moon) (1909), the piano piece Counting Song Variations (1910), and the children's songs Bam Bam Little Goat, Steam Locomotive Poppo, Seven Children, and The Full Moon. His works are collected in the Selected Works of Chosei Motoori (1982), edited by Haruhiko Kindaichi, and a detailed critical biography is The Full Moon by Chosei Motoori (1983). …
