Gigantopithecus blacki

...One of the fossil apes. In 1935, geologist and paleontologist GHR von Königswald discovered a huge right third molar at a drug wholesaler in Hong Kong and named it Gigantopithecus blacki . More information was added over the next 20 years, but all of the teeth were isolated, and the age and location of the discovery are unknown.
