…The signatures for one book are called a “piece.” There are two types of binding: machine binding and hand binding. The former is mainly used for “multiple bookbinding (publisher binding)” and the latter is often used for “various bookbinding.” Machine binding can be “tape binding” or “no tape.” Hand binding can be “thread stitching” or “punch-cut binding.”
