…This is a breeding method often used to genetically improve unimproved livestock in underdeveloped areas. It is also called nobility. A male of an improved species is introduced and crossed with a female of a native species to produce a first generation hybrid. The first generation female is then crossed with a male of an improved species, and the next generation is crossed with an improved species. In this way, the breed can be made closer to the improved species with each generation.
