〘Noun〙 One of the heads of Bunraku puppets. The name comes from its use on Oniichi Hōgan in "Oniichi Hōgan Sanryaku-maki." It is used for older actors with sagging eyebrows and cross -eyed eyes. It is also used for Kakogawa Honzō in the ninth act of "Kanadehon Chushingura."
