Kampuchean

...They are the descendants of the people who founded the Angkor Dynasty. They call themselves Kampucheans or Kumaeans, and outside of Cambodia, about one million people (who call themselves Kampucheans) live in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam, and about two million people live in the Korat Plateau and Moon River basin in Thailand. Their cradle is said to be in the mid-Mekong region, and they adopted Indian culture early on and formed a nation.
