Dried Abalone - Kanpao

...For steamed or simmered dishes, it is sufficient to only lightly wash the surface. Currently processed products include the aforementioned noshi (wrapped abalone) and dried abalone, the latter of which is called kangbao and is an important ingredient in Chinese cuisine. The small tokobushi (abalone-like fish) is also delicious when steamed or simmered.
