This lighthouse is located in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It was first lit in 1869. It is 19 meters tall. It is Japan's first Western-style lighthouse, but was destroyed in two earthquakes during the Taisho era, including the Great Kanto Earthquake, and was rebuilt.
