Guandi Mountain

...Altitude 1500-2000m. The main peak is Guandi Mountain, 2831m above sea level, and it stands on the Loess Plateau in western Shanxi Province. From the end of the Ming Dynasty to the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, this area was the site of peasant rebellion armies that barricaded themselves for decades and resisted the Qing Dynasty's armed oppression. It also formed a strong base for resistance against Japan during the Japanese invasion of China.
