Indirect lighting

Japanese:
Indirect lighting
A method of indirect lighting by directing light from a light source onto a ceiling or wall. It produces soft, diffused light without creating shadows, but it is inefficient and requires a large amount of light. For this reason, semi-indirect lighting is also used, where a translucent reflector is used to direct some of the light. →Illuminated ceiling
