〘noun〙① To point out the shortcomings or mistakes of a superior and give advice. To admonish; also, the words used. ※Taiheiki (late 14th century) vol. 5 "Even so, could a generation of people be forgiven for not offering words of admonishment ?" [Hokushushu - Hikei] ② To reprimand; to give a stern warning. ※ Taiheiki (late 14th century) vol. 22 "More than 3,000 soldiers, encouraged by the general's admonitions, surrounded the enemy with 16 horsemen in the middle."

Isamegoto [remonstrations]

〘 noun 〙 (formerly called "isamekoto") something that is forbidden; forbidden words; prohibition ; admonition . ※Shoki (720), May 1st year of the Yomei era (instructions from the Tosho-ryo school ) "The prince then followed the admonition and did not stop."
