Cartap

S,S '-[2-(dimethylamino)-1,3-propanediyl]bis(thiocarbamate). C ₇ H ₁₅ N ₃ O ₂ S ₂ (237.36). Also called padan. It is obtained by reacting 2-dimethylamino-1,3-dichloropropane with potassium thiocyanate to give 2-dimethylamino-1,3-propanediylbis(thiocyanate), which is then hydrolyzed with hydrochloric acid. Cartap hydrochloride is a colorless crystal. Decomposition point 179-181 °C. Water solubility about 200 g L ^-1 (25 °C). Cartap was synthesized as an analogue of nereistotoxin, and acts as an antagonist on insect acetylcholine receptors. It is highly effective against lepidopteran pests such as the rice stem borer and beetle pests such as the rice water weevil. LD ₅₀ 325 mg/kg (rat, oral). [CAS 15263-53-3]

S,S′-[2-(dimethylamino)-1,3-propanediyl]bis(thiocarbamate)．C₇H₁₅N₃O₂S₂(237.36)．パダンともいう．2-ジメチルアミノ-1,3-ジクロロプロパンとチオシアン酸カリウムとを反応させ，2-ジメチルアミノ-1,3-プロパンジイルビス(チオシアナート)とし，ついで塩酸で加水分解すると得られる．カルタップ塩酸塩は無色の結晶．分解点179～181 ℃．水溶解度約200 g L^－1(25 ℃)．カルタップはイソメ毒(ネライストトキシン)の類縁体として合成されたもので，昆虫のアセチルコリン受容体にアンタゴニストとして作用する．ニカメイチュウなどの鱗翅(りんし)目害虫，イネミズゾウムシなどの甲虫目害虫に卓効を示す．LD₅₀ 325 mg/kg(ラット，経口)．[CAS 15263-53-3]
