...The stones of the stone house and the mortuary beds on either side were decorated with concentric circles and continuous triangles in three colors: red, blue, and white, but the colors are no longer clear today.

This keyhole-shaped tumulus from the first half of the 6th century is located in Kamo, Takashima-cho, Takashima-gun, Shiga Prefecture. It is located on the alluvial plain on the west shore of Lake Biwa, and the south-facing tumulus is about 50m long and has traces of a former moat.
