Kapgan kakan - Kapgan kakan

Japanese: カプガン可汗 - かぷがんかかん
Kapgan kakan - Kapgan kakan

The Turkic people ruled over northern and central Asia in the 6th to 8th centuries, and was the name of the Turkic tribes and their confederation of nomadic tribes. The name is a transliteration of Türk, and is also called "Tokketsu." The ruler was called the Qaghan or Khagan. Below him were the Little Khagan, Yabgu, and other feudal lords, who formed a ruling class. Tümän, chief of the Ashina clan living in the southwestern foot of the Altai Mountains, subjugated the Tiele tribes of Dzungaria, then defeated the Rouran in 552, took the title of Illig Khan (Bumïn Khan), and unified the Mongolian nomads. Meanwhile, his brother, Istämi Khan (Silziboulos or Dizaboulos in Byzantine sources), destroyed the Hephthalites (567), seized Sogdiana, and became the Western Khan, with his base in the Yilduz Valley in the Tianshan Mountains, and took control of Central Asia.
