Born on September 9, 1895. Studied under Hasegawa Eisaku and others. His work "Spring Sorrow" was first selected for the 3rd Teiten Exhibition in 1921. He studied under Bourdelle in France. After returning to Japan, he became a member of the Kokuga Creation Association. In 1937, he founded the Neoclassical Art Association. He passed away on October 29, 1968. He was 73 years old.
