A hot spring in the upper reaches of the Kinugawa River, Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. Simple spring, saline spring. 70-80℃. During the Edo period, Nikko merchants became contractors for the hot springs and managed them. It is located in a forest of beech and oak trees at an altitude of 1000m, nearby is the Yuzawa Fountain Tower (a natural monument), and downstream is Lake Kawamata of the Kawamata Dam.
