A court in Washington, the capital of the United States. It was located inside the US Capitol, but in 1935 it moved to the current Supreme Court Building, which was built in front of the Capitol. The four-story building is covered in marble and has courtrooms, judges' offices, a library, and conference rooms, as well as shops, a cafeteria, and a gym. It is open except on federal holidays, and you can see exhibits and videos introducing the Supreme Court, and attend oral arguments. アメリカの首都ワシントンにある裁判所。連邦議会議事堂内に置かれていたが、1935年、議事堂正面に建てられた現在の最高裁判所ビルに移転した。ビルは4階建てで大理石で覆われ、法廷や判事執務室、図書館、会議場のほかに、商店やカフェテリア、ジムなども設置されている。連邦の休日を除いてオープンしていて、展示や最高裁判所の紹介ビデオを見られて、口頭弁論の傍聴もできる。
