…A motor vehicle is a vehicle that has its own power source and engine and can be driven freely on the road without relying on rails. It generally does not include vehicles that use overhead wires, such as trolleybuses, even if they run on the road. However, trailer trucks and trailer buses are included in the category of motor vehicles. In addition, the ISO's Road Vehicles: Types, Terms and Definitions defines a motor vehicle as a vehicle that has a motor and runs on the road, has four or more wheels, does not use rails, and is used for transporting people or cargo, towing them, or for special purposes, and includes trolleybuses. Also, three-wheeled vehicles with a vehicle weight of 400 kg or more are included in the category of motor vehicles.
