Volcanic Mountains - Kazansanchi

Furthermore, in some cases, such as the Nikko Volcanic Group and the Yatsugatake Volcanic Group, volcanoes are clustered together and occupy a large area, so it is necessary to distinguish between these and the "volcanic mountain range." Mountain ranges are given names based on the main geology and rocks that make them up.
