Born May 8, 1927. Joined Toei in 1954 and made his debut in 1958 with "Hibari's Star Detective Battle." He worked on many yakuza films, and some of his most famous works include "Bakuchiuchi/Socho Tobaku" and the "Battles Without Honor and Humanity" series. He passed away on December 12, 2002.
