Guo Maochen

...Chinese military man. His pen name was Maochen. He was from Shenyang, Liaoning Province. After graduating from the Beijing Military University, he served under Zhang Zuolin and led the military faction against Yang Yuting and others who had studied in Japan. In November 1925, Guo Songling, who was united with Feng Yuxiang, raised an army against Zhang Zuolin under the pretext of being the commander-in-chief of the Northeast Army. He approached Fengtian (Shenyang) with superior forces, but was defeated because Japan sided with Zhang Zuolin, and was executed together with his wife.
