Nuclear material management

...is a classification of nuclear material that can be used to manufacture nuclear weapons more easily than raw materials. The management of nuclear material to prevent it from being diverted for illegal purposes such as the manufacture of nuclear weapons is generally called nuclear material management. There are two methods: accountancy management and containment and monitoring. The former is usually used primarily, and the latter is used in combination as appropriate to enhance the effectiveness of management.
