Cocktail lighting - Kakuteru Shoumei

...Color rendering is the characteristic of a light source that makes the colors of objects appear natural. In gymnasiums and outdoor sports facilities, fluorescent mercury lamps (lamps in which a phosphor is applied to the inside of the mercury lamp tube to improve light color and efficiency) or mixed lighting of metal halide lamps and high-pressure sodium lamps (commonly known as cocktail lighting) are popular. By lighting method, there is general lighting that illuminates the entire room, local lighting that illuminates the work area from close up, combined lighting of both, and local general lighting that is suitable for bench work, etc.
