Born: 1182. Florence [Died] 1260. Bologna. Professor of law in Bologna. Student of Aso. Wrote the Glossordinaria, a meticulous compilation of commentaries on the Corpus Juris Juris by successive commentators, with his own annotations added. If the Glossordinaria is a comprehensive overview of classical Roman law, the Glossordinaria is said to be a comprehensive overview of medieval jurisprudence.
