Gaucho - Gausho

...the cowboys of the Pampas, which straddle Argentina and Uruguay. They are called llanero in Venezuela and eastern Colombia, gaucho in Brazil, and huaso in Chile. Cattle and horses were introduced to the Pampas by the Spanish in the mid-16th century, and cattle in particular were well adapted to the ecological conditions of the Pampas, becoming wild and their numbers increasing rapidly.
