Electrokinetic Phenomenon - Sponge Sponge

Electrokinetic Phenomenon - Sponge Sponge

When relative motion is applied between the two phases at a liquid-liquid or liquid-solid interface, a potential difference is generated along the direction of motion (streaming potential, sedimentation potential), and when a potential difference is applied along the interface, relative motion occurs between the interfaces (electrophoresis, electroosmosis). These four types of phenomena are collectively called interfacial electrokinetic phenomena.
