Pocket sweet soup - Kaichu Jiruko
〘Noun〙 A confectionery made by wrapping dried and hardened azuki bean paste in a monaka shell. It is so named because it can be made into instant sweet soup by pouring hot water over it, and is portable. [Aoga Manroku (1901-02)]
