Japanese: 御衣祭 - おんぞまつり

〘Noun〙① An event at Ise Grand Shrine to present sacred clothing to the gods. Held annually on the 14th of May and October. The Kamumiso Festival. ② A festival held in the Toyohashi area of Aichi Prefecture from April 11th to 14th. Due to its ancient history of preparing the sacred clothing for the Ise Grand Shrine festival, it was held from the Genna era ( 1615-24 ) to Meiji 7 and 7. During the festival, citizens do not weave or sew, and girls from the town parade through the city in full attire.

〘名〙① 伊勢神宮で、神にそなえる御衣(おんぞ)を奉る行事。毎年五月と一〇月の一四日に行なわれる。神御衣(かむみそ)の祭。② 愛知県豊橋地方で、四月一一日から一四日まで行なわれた祭礼。伊勢神宮の神御衣の祭の御料を、古来調製した由緒により、元和年間（一六一五‐二四）から明治七、八年まで行なわれた。祭の間、市民は機織(はたお)りや裁縫をせず、盛装した町内の娘たちが列をなして市中を練り歩く。
