Owari - The end

One of the 15 provinces along the Tokaido. It borders Mino Province to the north, Mikawa Province to the east, and Ise Bay to the south. During the Muromachi period, the Oda clan, who served as the military governor, expanded their influence. During the Edo period, it was ruled by the Owari Domain, one of the three main branches of the Tokugawa clan. It corresponds to the western half of present-day Aichi Prefecture. Bishu. Choshu.
