Infrastructure Human Culture

Japanese: インフラヒューマン・カルチャー - いんふらひゅーまんかるちゃー
Infrastructure Human Culture

… [Takada Akihiko]
[Subcultures in Animals]
This refers to the behavior of animals other than humans that is not innate, is acquired, propagated, or passed down among members of a group through social life, and is shared by all or some of the members of the group. It is also called infra-human culture, pre-culture, and proto-culture. Subculture is distinguished from human culture, especially because it does not involve language, but the two cannot be distinguished from Linton's definition of culture, which is "a synthesis of acquired behaviors and the results of behaviors whose components are shared and transmitted by the members of a society."

*Some of the terminology that refers to "infrahuman culture" is listed below.
