Generally, when people say Tateyama, they are referring to the highest peaks, Onanjiyama (3,015m) and Oyama (2,992m), but it can also refer to the three Tateyama mountains, including Jodoyama (2,887m) to the south and Betsusan (2,882m) to the north. All of the Tateyama mountains are composed of ancient hana-kousen greenstone and Hida metamorphic rocks. ...
