For example, the number 3 is related to the meaning of "full" in a sense, and is considered an auspicious number that is fulfilled, as in the three great families and the three great principles. In life ceremonies, the number 3 is also considered an important ceremonial number in births and weddings. In Okinawa, the god of fire is represented by three stones and is revered as Omitsumon. In old tales, the number 3 appears frequently in the names of the main characters, such as Saburo and Sankichi, in the three brothers, and in the repetition of three times.
