Born in 1666. She married Nishi Shingoro, a local samurai from Kamo Village, Awanaka County (Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture), but he died soon after. In accordance with her husband's will, she appealed to the authorities to recover the land that had been unjustly taken from her as payment for debts, but her appeal was ignored. In 1682, she appealed directly to the lord of Tokushima Domain, and was beheaded on March 16 of the same year. She was 24 years old. She was later enshrined as Omatsu Gongen.
