A powerful clan that appears in the Kojiki and Nihonshoki. He was the younger brother of his elder brother Eshiki, who ruled the Eshiki region of Yamato (Nara Prefecture). When Emperor Jimmu invaded Yamato, he did not follow his older brother, but instead surrendered and became the governor of Eshiki. His name was Kurohaya.
