Austrian Nazi Party

In 1932, Dollfuss became Prime Minister and attempted to establish a dictatorship known as "clerical fascism," but he received strong opposition from the Social Democrats and the Nazi Party, and the government was still unstable. Hitler took advantage of this situation and supported the Austrian Nazi Party with funds, weapons, and propaganda in an attempt to overthrow the Dollfuss regime. On July 25, 1934, the Austrian Nazi Party staged an armed uprising, but it ended in failure, with only Dollfuss being killed.
