おし‐もの【押物】

〘名〙① (「おしもん」とも) 得意としてよくするもの。また、きまったように、いつもする事柄。〔易林本節用集(1597)〕※滑稽本・浮世風呂(1809‐13)三「あれと伊勢音頭が、上方者の押物(オシモン)だよ」② 干菓子の一分類。固くおしつけて作った菓子。落雁の類。
