...One of the leading new theater companies in Japan after World War II. Founded in 1944 by Senda Koreya, Aoyama Sugisaku, Ozawa Sakae (later Eitaro, 1909-88), Higashino Eijiro (1907-94), Higashiyama Chieko, and Kishi Teruko.
