A folk performing art handed down in the Hiruzen region of Okayama Prefecture. It is a Bon dance held in villages at the foot of the Hiruzen Plateau, and is held at shrines, temples, and tsujidos in the area on a daily basis. It is named after the most spectacular dance held at Fukuda Shrine in Yatsuka Village, known locally as "Omiya-sama." 岡山県の蒜山地方に伝わる民俗芸能。蒜山高原山麓の村々で行われる盆踊りで、各地の神社やお寺、辻堂などで日替わりで催される。当地で「大宮さま」と呼ばれる八束村の福田神社での踊りが最も盛大なことからこの名で呼ばれる。1997年、国の重要無形民俗文化財に指定。
