Ijiton

In 521, he accompanied the Baekje envoy to the Liang Dynasty of the Southern Dynasty of China, and in 532, he dispatched General Isabu to annex Gimhae Gara. Around this time, he officially recognized Buddhism and founded Korinji Temple, but the conflict with the nobles who opposed Buddhism is passed down as the tale of Ijiton's martyrdom. Note that Hoko is not a posthumous name.
