Oobaronia - Oobaronia

...The inside of the cells is filled with cell sap. Representative species include V. macrophysa Kütz. (illustration), V. aegagropila (Roth) Ag., and V. ventricosa J.Ag. The first two species form clumps of densely packed obovate or elliptical cells, but V. ventricosa grows singly with spherical cells.
