?-? A soldier from the Asuka period.
A native of Tsukushi. In the 7th year of the reign of Emperor Saimei (661), he accompanied a relief force from Baekje (Korea) and was captured by the Tang Dynasty (China). In the 3rd year of the reign of Emperor Tenji, he learned of Tang's plans to dispatch troops to Japan, and in order to inform his country, he sold himself to raise the money to send his comrades back home. After 30 years in Tang, he returned in the 4th year of the reign of Empress Jito. He was given rice fields and other goods.

筑紫(つくし)の人。斉明(さいめい)天皇7年(661)百済(くだら)(朝鮮)救援軍にしたがい,唐(中国)の捕虜となる。天智(てんじ)天皇3年に唐の日本出兵計画を知り,本国につげるため,自分の身を売って費用を捻出し仲間を帰国させる。在唐30年,持統天皇4年に帰国。水田や物品をさずかった。
