Born in the first year of the Jo-o era. A follower of Nichiren from the early days. Along with Tomiki Nichijo and Soya Noriyoshi, he supported Nichiren as one of the leading supporters in Shimousa. It is said that Hidaka, the second abbot of Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple, was his son. He passed away on April 26th (some say September) in the sixth year of Koan. He was 62 years old.
